SpearTip Roofing was founded by brothers Wes and Rawley Moyer with one simple goal: to protect Florida homes and families with honesty, skill, and precision.

After serving in U.S. Special Operations, Wes brought his discipline, leadership, and integrity to the roofing industry, while Rawley — a trained civil engineer — brings technical expertise and structural insight to every job site. Together, the brothers are building something bigger than just a company — they’re creating a legacy rooted in service, structural precision, and trust. Raised in Martin County and graduates of Martin County High School, Wes and Rawley are deeply connected to the communities they now serve. Their roots here fuel their commitment to protecting the homes and families of their hometown.

Meet the Founders


  • Founder | Head of Sales

    Wes was born in Oklahoma and raised in Martin County, Florida, where he attended Hidden Oaks Middle School and graduated from Martin County High School. Driven by a deep sense of duty and family tradition, he enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.

    Wes earned a coveted spot in the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), also known as the Night Stalkers, where he served his six-year military career with distinction. After completing his service, he transitioned to civilian life and began studying computer engineering in college, where he met his wife, Nikkolette.

    The couple later moved to Durango, Colorado, in search of a new adventure out West. It was there that Wes joined a close friend at the ground level of a new roofing company. Over the years, he helped grow that company into the largest roofing provider in the region.

    Eventually, Wes and his family felt the pull of home—the warmth, sun, and beaches of Florida—and decided to return to Martin County. Drawing on his military discipline, engineering mindset, and years of hands-on roofing experience, Wes co-founded SpearTip Roofing with a mission to bring integrity, professionalism, and quality craftsmanship to the community that raised him.

    Born and raised in Martin County, Rawley Moyer brings a strong foundation of technical expertise and community values to every roof SpearTip installs. As a trained civil engineer, Rawley has a deep understanding of structural integrity, building systems, and how Florida’s unique climate impacts residential and commercial roofs.

    Before co-founding SpearTip Roofing with his brother Wes, Rawley worked in the engineering field, where he developed a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to doing things the right way — not just the easy way. His passion for building, paired with his analytical mindset, ensures that every SpearTip project is grounded in precision, performance, and long-term durability.

    Rawley is a proud graduate of Martin County High School and Florida Gulf Coast University, and his roots in the local community fuel his dedication to protecting the homes and families he grew up around. Whether he's evaluating storm damage, overseeing a complex re-roof, or walking a homeowner through their options, Rawley brings clarity, confidence, and care to the process.
